Project Lead the Way

Students will engage in hands-on, collaborative problem solving focused on real-world challenges. Students will use and stretch their imaginations in brand new ways while connecting their learning to real life!

Goals

Students are introduced to real-world situations through the Project Lead The Way curriculum.  PLTW provides standards-based learning opportunities for students to explore and build their knowledge in content areas.  Once students have developed their understanding, they are able to work collaboratively to create a solution to their real-world problem.  

Learning Experiences

Each science class in grades 6-8 will experience on Project Lead the Way unit.  6th Graders will complete Flight and Space; 7th Graders will complete Computer Science for Innovators and Makers; and 8th Graders will complete Medical Detectives.
